HC Knole Park’s Women’s 1st team have won Invicta Division 1 with a resounding undefeated season! The team from Knole Park won every match scoring an amazing 226 goals and only conceding twice. England star Lottie scored 63 goals as the team’s top scorer.
In the closing matches of the season there were a number of notable performances from the team including convincingly beating the other top teams in the league: 10-0 against 2nd placed Folkestone Optimists (Goals from Lottie 4, Summer 3, and Phoebe 3), a 9-0 win against 3rd placed Gore Court (Goals from Lottie 4, Biba 2, Jess, Mackenzie, and Alessia), and 10-0 against 4th placed Old Williamsonians (Goals from Lottie 4, Aurelia, Boadicea, Annabel, Jess, Polly , and Phoebe).
The top scorers for the team were Lottie with 63 goals, Biba with 19, Amelie and Alessia both with 14 goals and Jess, Phoebe, and Evie S with 10 goals each.
This is the team’s fourth promotion in four season and sees the team move up to South-East Division 1 West for 2023/24 which is a tremendously exciting new level for Knole Park and one that all the club are looking forward to.
The club also wish a fond goodbye to Amelie, Annabel, and Elen. All three girls have been hugely important to the Women’s 1st team over the last few season and leave Knole Park this summer for university. We wish you all the best.
