The members of HC Knole Park returned to hockey this weekend after just over three months off. The keen hockey players sold out the ‘Return to Play’ sessions organised by the club in under 24 hours for the two days over the weekend.
75 members of all ages from U10s to seniors booked their social distanced pitch space and were delighted to enjoy some hockey at long last!
One parent said: “Thanks for organising these sessions this weekend, the kids really enjoyed them.”
Another parent said: “She really enjoyed both sessions and came home really excited about the season. Well done.”
Duncan, the HC Knole Park Director of Coaching said: “We are really pleased to be back on the pitch! Our final session before lockdown was on the 16th March, over three months ago. Everyone was desperate to play again! Despite this, we were still amazed at the take up from our membership! There is huge enthusiasm for all sport at the moment and having the chance to play some hockey in real life rather than just doing the online sessions is exactly what everyone needed!”
HC Knole Park have sold out this weekend too and look forward to offering some Summer training sessions in July!
